OVERVIEW

Ivo Burum is an award winning television, writer, director, producer and executive producer who’s worked in more than 40 countries across a range of program styles, including documentary, reality, docu-drama, magazine and frontline current affairs series such as Foreign Correspondent and 60 Minutes. Ivo is a pioneer of the UGC style of production in Australia and has spent three decades empowering people with skills to produce their own stories for self-shot television series including Race Around Oz, Home Truths and Nurses. Having developed and delivered in excess of 30 series for networks in Australian and internationally, Ivo’ s most recent work as executive producer was on the first three series of the Nine Network hit, Missing Persons Unit. Currently he is developing a number of series, conducting occasional lectures in mobile journalism at Deakin University and delivering his innovative iPhone workshops across Australia and abroad.
